The service provides information on laws, actions and technical support against infringment of Ip rights in order to start all the procedures to fight unlegal actions both at national and international level also in cooperation with international organizations and foreign partners. This service is oparated by a specialized task force belonging to Guardia di Finanza (Financial Police), present at the the Directorate General for the Fight against Counterfeiting -IPTO, which is in charge of receiving and processing all the requests and it is in continuous contact with dedicated task forces within Police forces and Customs.
The “Linea Diretta Anticontraffazione” is also managed by Guardia di Finanza as an Anticounterfeiting information Service SIAC (link https://siac.gdf.it/)
